About the Practice
This is a thriving, RCVS-accredited small animal hospital in the heart of the West Midlands, supported by a strong team of 16 experienced Veterinary Surgeons, including 7 certificate holders across disciplines such as cardiology, dermatology, medicine, dentistry, ophthalmology, and surgery (soft tissue and orthopaedic).
The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical facilities, including:

Fully equipped dental suite (with dental training available)

12 operating theatres
You’ll be part of a friendly, progressive, and collaborative team that takes pride in providing exceptional clinical standards while maintaining a supportive, inclusive work environment.
The Role
-
Permanent full-time or part-time role (35+ hours per week)
-
40-hour average week, with a 1:10 full weekend (Sat–Sun) and 1:5 Saturdays – with time back in lieu
-
Mix of consulting, surgery, and dental work – or consult-only if preferred
-
No out-of-hours or on-call responsibilities – a dedicated night team covers all OOH work
-
Last consult at 6:30pm on weekdays
This role is primarily based at the Dudley hospital, with occasional cover at nearby branch practices as needed.
Who We’re Looking For

A confident, team-oriented Veterinary Surgeon with strong clinical and communication skills

RCVS-registered, with good experience in first opinion medicine and surgery

Committed to providing high-quality care and building lasting client relationships

Keen to continue learning and developing within a supportive environment
