The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Head Nurse to join a dynamic and supportive team in Doncaster. Working closely with the Head Nurse, you’ll play a key role in driving the efficiency, effectiveness, governance, and continuous improvement of the clinical activities within the practice.
You’ll work an average of 39.25 hours per week, including 1 in 4 weekends, within a friendly and dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional clinical care and outstanding client service.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach. You’ll thrive on a varied caseload, enjoy supporting your colleagues, and have a genuine passion for continuous learning and professional development.
About the Practice
You’ll be based in a modern, purpose-built practice equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and a highly skilled team. The practice has a strong focus on collaboration and development, with several team members working towards or holding advanced qualifications and certificates.

Who We’re Looking For

Qualified and registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)

Experience in a leadership or senior nursing role desirable but not essential

Strong communication, organisation, and mentoring skills
