Brand new clinic. Thoughtfully designed nursing role. A chance to help shape something from day one.
If You’re Looking for More Than Just Another Nursing Job
If you’re a Registered Veterinary Nurse who wants to feel proud of where you work, supported in how you nurse, and genuinely excited about the future of the profession, this role is worth a closer look.
This is not about firefighting or just getting through the day. It is about building something better, together.
The Opportunity
We are working with a forward-thinking veterinary group opening a brand new, beautifully designed clinic in Beckenham. This practice has been created from the ground up with one clear aim: to make veterinary care feel calm, seamless, and genuinely joyful for pets, owners, and the people who care for them.
You will be joining at an exciting moment. As an RVN here, you will not just step into a role. You will help shape how the clinic runs, how nursing is valued, and how patients experience care. The environment has been designed to support excellent medicine, strong teamwork, and a pace that allows you to nurse properly.
They are looking for a nurse who enjoys responsibility, values high standards, and wants to be part of a team that is actively trying to improve the veterinary industry, not just talk about it.
Why This Role Is Different
Nursing Is Central, Not Secondary
Nurse consults are a core part of the service, not an afterthought. You will have the time and trust to run consults, educate clients, and make a real difference to patient outcomes.
High Clinical Standards You Can Be Proud Of
You will be hands-on with anaesthetic monitoring, GA record keeping, screening procedures, sample collection, and assisting with both invasive and non-invasive procedures. Protocols are clear, current, and consistently followed.
A Calm, Purpose-Built Environment
This is a modern clinic designed with workflow, hygiene, and wellbeing in mind. Cleanliness, organisation, and surgical discipline are taken seriously, making day-to-day nursing more enjoyable and less stressful.
A True People and Animal First Culture
You will be working alongside skilled, like-minded professionals who value teamwork, communication, and mutual respect. Initiative is encouraged, and independence is trusted.
Your Journey Here
In Your First Month
You will settle into the clinic, learn the systems and protocols, and build strong working relationships with the team. You will be supported to understand how this practice operates and what great nursing looks like here.
By Three Months
You will be confidently running nurse consults, monitoring anaesthetics, maintaining high clinical standards, and contributing to the smooth running of the practice. Your voice will be heard, and your ideas welcomed.
By Six Months
You will be a key part of the nursing team, trusted, confident, and helping shape how the clinic continues to grow. This is a place where development is encouraged and ambition is supported.
