What’s On Offer

  • Salary: £26,000–£28,000 (pro rata) to start; higher considered for additional qualifications/experience

  • Hours: 38 hours across 4 days (part-time considered)

  • Rota: Approx. 1 in 6 Saturday mornings (08:00–12:30), paid or taken as TOIL

  • No OOH, No Sundays, No Bank Holidays: dedicated emergency provider covers on-site, so in-patients stay put

  • CPD & Growth: £600 CPD allowance p.a., full support for certificates and role-appropriate training

About the Role

A varied RVN position split across a well-equipped hospital site in Kirk Sandall and a nearby branch in Carcroft. Duties include consulting, inpatient care, prep, theatre and nurse-led clinics—tailored to your strengths and the kind of nursing you love.

Our Facilities & Team

Work alongside an experienced multi-disciplinary team including certificate holders in surgery, medicine, diagnostic imaging, and anaesthesia & analgesia. Facilities include laparoscopy, orthopaedic kit, dental X-ray and a modern theatre suite—supporting a diverse caseload and high clinical standards.

Hours & Rota

  • Full-time: 38 hours over 4 days (flexible/part-time applicants welcome)

  • Approx. 1 in 6 Saturday mornings (08:00–12:30), paid or TOIL

  • No out-of-hours, no Sundays, no bank holidays—emergency provider attends the hospital so patients remain on site

 

About You

You’re a positive, team-focused RVN who enjoys combining gold-standard inpatient care with hands-on theatre and nurse consults. You value learning, like sharing ideas, and are keen to help drive nurse-led services. Newly qualified and experienced RVNs are equally welcome.

Location

Based just north of Doncaster with easy access to shops, eateries, a traditional market and Doncaster Racecourse. Excellent transport links via the A1, M18 and M62, plus fast mainline rail services from Doncaster.
