About the Role
This is a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse position (40 hours per week), with Saturdays on a 1:5 rota and no out-of-hours or sole charge. Flexibility can be offered for the right candidate.
Nurses are actively encouraged to utilise and develop their full range of skills, including opportunities to get involved in clinical coaching, certificates, and Schedule 3 procedures.
Your working week will be varied, typically including one day in surgery, one in consultations, and inpatient or recovery care—though this can be adjusted depending on your areas of interest.
About the Practice
Located in the charming market town of Shipston-on-Stour, in the heart of the North Cotswolds, this RCVS-accredited small animal practice proudly holds Cat and Dog Friendly Clinic status. The team is close-knit, supportive, and dedicated to providing high-quality care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Facilities include laparoscopy, endoscopy, digital and dental X-ray, with vets and nurses currently pursuing certificates in surgery, anaesthesia, and exotics. The practice has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere—complete with fruit Tuesdays, home-baked cakes, and regular team social events throughout the year.
