Brand new clinic · Permanent · On site
If you want to nurse properly again
If you are a Registered Veterinary Nurse who loves clinical work but feels worn down by rushed days, outdated spaces, or not being fully trusted to use your skills, this could be the fresh start you have been looking for.
This role is about nursing done well, in a place that has been designed around the people and pets inside it.
The Opportunity
We are working with a forward-thinking veterinary group that is opening a brand new, beautifully designed clinic in West Hampstead. Their mission is simple but ambitious. To redesign the entire veterinary experience so that care feels seamless, calm, and genuinely joyful for teams, clients, and pets.
This is not about squeezing more appointments into the day or cutting corners. It is about creating a clinic where nurses are central to patient care, where consults matter, and where the environment supports high clinical standards rather than working against them.
They are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who takes pride in their work, enjoys responsibility, and wants to be part of building something special from day one.
Why This Role Is Different
A clinic designed to work properly
This is a purpose-built, modern clinic, thoughtfully laid out to support excellent workflows, infection control, and calm patient journeys. Clean, elegant spaces. Proper equipment. No making do.
Nursing is truly valued here
You will be actively involved in nurse consults, GA monitoring, inpatient care, and client education. This is a role where your clinical judgment is trusted and encouraged.
High standards, without the chaos
Clear protocols, strong communication, and a team that cares about doing things properly. Surgical etiquette, quarantining procedures, and clinical notes are taken seriously, because they matter.
A people and animal first culture
You will be working alongside skilled veterinary professionals who genuinely enjoy what they do. The culture is warm, supportive, and collaborative, with space to work independently while never feeling isolated.
Your Journey Here
In your first month, you will focus on settling into the clinic, getting comfortable with protocols and systems, and building strong relationships with the team. You will be supported as you find your rhythm.
By three months, you will be confidently running nurse consults, monitoring general anaesthetics, and contributing fully to patient care. Your voice will be heard, and your ideas welcomed.
By six months, you will be a trusted, integral part of the clinic. You will be delivering consistently high standards of nursing care and helping shape how this new practice continues to grow.
