About the Role
This position offers a varied caseload and would suit a small animal vet at any stage of their career—from recent graduate to experienced clinician. You’ll work in a purpose-built practice alongside a friendly team, with the chance to develop your interests and benefit from excellent facilities.
Expect a balance of medical and surgical work, regular team meetings, and a workday structured to support wellbeing and on-time finishes. The role is split between two supportive sites and includes access to a full in-house lab, dental suite, imaging suite, and exotic wards.
About the Practice
The practice is forward-thinking and environmentally conscious, with dedicated cat, dog, exotic, and bereavement spaces. You’ll work with a team that values collaboration, humour, and quality clinical care—with many colleagues pursuing additional qualifications in surgery, nursing specialisms, and medicine.
Staff enjoy perks like dog-friendly workspaces, sunlit break areas, and even an on-site herb garden for rabbits. The culture is one of inclusion, engagement, and continuous improvement—recognised by an “Outstanding Place to Work” accreditation in external employee surveys.
Location, Location, Location
Based in Bressingham, Norfolk, the practice enjoys easy access to Norwich, London (2 hours by train), Thetford Forest, and the stunning Suffolk coast. Local walks, village charm, and city convenience make this a wonderful area for lifestyle and leisure.
Who We’re Looking For
A kind, motivated small animal vet with strong communication skills and a desire to work in a close-knit, forward-thinking team. Whether you’re looking to grow your confidence or bring experience to a practice that values your ideas, this is a great place to thrive.
