About the Practice
This well-equipped Tier 3 hospital is a training practice offering an exceptional standard of care, supported by advanced facilities including digital X-ray, ultrasound, dental radiography, CO₂ laser, laparoscopic equipment, a 64-slice CT scanner, and a 1.5T MRI scanner.
Ideally located near Liverpool and Manchester—with excellent transport links and easy access to the stunning countryside of Wales and the Lake District—it’s a fantastic spot for both professional and personal balance.
The Role

Full-time role (part-time considered for the right candidate)

4-day working week
-
1:8 weekend rota (Saturday and Sunday) or two Saturdays and one Sunday in every 8 weeks

Some contribution to the OOH rota for holiday and sickness cover

Around 50% of time spent on sole-charge branch work, or the option of a primarily branch-based role with hospital support

Close working relationship with the referral team
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a confident Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys consulting, performing neuterings, and undertaking small surgical procedures. You’ll be comfortable with occasional sole charge and have a strong focus on patient and client care.
You’ll be joining a friendly, highly skilled team that includes certificate holders in medicine, surgery, and diagnostic imaging, with others currently studying towards further qualifications. Individual progression and professional development are actively encouraged.
