About the Practice

This friendly and supportive 8-vet team in Doncaster has built a reputation for excellence and collaboration. With certificate holders in medicine, surgery, and diagnostic imaging, the practice fosters a strong culture of learning, teamwork, and professional development.

The practice operates across two well-equipped sites, including a recently refurbished branch and a main hospital. Out-of-hours care is handled by Vets Now, who work from the hospital site overnight—so inpatients can remain in familiar surroundings under continuous care.

The Role

This is an ideal opportunity for a confident veterinary surgeon who has completed their VetGDP and is comfortable with routine surgeries. The role can be tailored to your clinical interests, whether that’s surgery, medicine, or a bit of both.

  • Opportunity to develop advanced surgical skills, including cruciate, patella, laparoscopic, and BOAS procedures

  • For those with a medical focus, a wide range of diagnostic tools are available: Imagyst, ultrasound, dental radiography, endoscopy, and i-STAT

  • Dedicated hospital shifts offer variety — a mix of inpatient care, emergency cases, consulting, and surgery

  • Supportive rota structure designed around individual strengths and preferences
