About the Role


A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, first-opinion practice based in Rugeley, Staffordshire. This role offers a great balance of consults, surgery, and case variety – ideal for someone who enjoys continuity of care and developing long-term client relationships.

  • Full or part-time applications welcome

  • 40 hours per week across 4 days with 1:3 Saturday mornings

  • Typical week: 1 surgery day, 1 consultation day, and 2 mixed days (can be tailored to your strengths and preferences)

  • No OOH – ensuring an excellent work-life balance


Our Facilities


Modern, purpose-built premises with recently renovated, light, and spacious consult rooms and theatres.

  • Two linked theatres at the main site

  • Digital X-ray, ultrasound, vista scanner, and in-house lab

  • Dental radiography and ISFM Cat Friendly Silver status

  • Silver RWAF and Green Investors in the Environment (iiE) accredited


Who We’re Looking For


We’d love to hear from a confident small animal vet who enjoys a varied caseload and working within a supportive, collaborative team.

  • Comfortable with routine consultations and surgeries

  • Keen to continue learning and develop advanced skills

  • Approachable, kind, and committed to providing the highest standard of care
