A forward-thinking veterinary group is opening a brand-new, purpose-built clinic in Blackheath and they are looking for a Clinical Director to build it from scratch. There is no existing team to inherit, no established culture to maintain, and no systems already in place. Everything is yours to shape.
You will be the clinical and cultural lead for the clinic, directly line managing the vet team, Head Nurse, and Practice Manager. You will set clinical standards and have real input into the business direction alongside a supportive wider leadership group. Around 80 per cent of your time will be clinical, so this is not a desk-based position. You will be in the consult room and operating theatre alongside your team.
The group behind this clinic is transparent about how the business runs. Clinical leads have visibility of KPIs and P&L, and they are expected to understand and influence performance, not just deliver clinical hours. They use tools like VetSafe to make sure concerns are raised and heard, and they take that seriously in practice.
If this sounds like the right next step, we would be glad to tell you more.
