Permanent role | Modern, well-equipped clinic | Supportive, values-led team

If This Sounds Like You

If you became an RVN to deliver genuinely high standards of care, but find yourself stretched thin or unheard, this could be the role that brings the spark back. A place where your skills matter, your voice is valued, and your days feel purposeful again.

The Opportunity

We are working with a well-established small animal clinic in Putney, that has built a reputation for calm, considered veterinary care. This is not a practice focused on rushing through consults or firefighting every day. Instead, the team has intentionally created an environment where nurses are central to patient outcomes and client experience.

They are now looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who wants to be part of something steady and thoughtful. Someone who takes pride in high-quality nursing, enjoys working collaboratively, and cares deeply about animal welfare.

You will be joining a clinic that blends modern technology with strong clinical fundamentals, supported by a leadership team that understands how vital good nursing is to the success of the practice.

Why This Role Is Different

Nursing Is Respected Here

Nurses are trusted to nurse. You will be hands-on with patient care, monitoring, treatments, and recovery, not stuck doing admin all day or filling gaps.

Modern, Well-Run Clinical Environment

The clinic invests in up-to-date veterinary software and equipment, making your day smoother and allowing you to focus on clinical care rather than workarounds.

Genuine Team Culture

This is a team-oriented environment where communication is clear and respectful. People support each other, ideas are welcomed, and no one is left to struggle alone.

Client Education Is Valued

You will have the time and backing to properly educate and support pet owners, helping improve outcomes and build trust, not just rush them out the door.

Your Journey Here

In Your First Month
You will settle into the team, learn the clinic’s systems, and build confidence with their protocols. The focus is on feeling supported and comfortable, not being thrown in at the deep end.

By Three Months
You will be confidently delivering high-quality nursing care, managing patient monitoring, treatments, and client communication with ease. Your input will be welcomed, and your strengths recognised.

By Six Months
You will be a trusted and valued member of the team, contributing to standards of care, supporting newer colleagues, and potentially exploring further training or progression opportunities.
