Modern clinic environment | People and pets first culture | Surgical focus with room to grow

If you’re looking for a place where great medicine and a great team actually coexist

If you’re a Veterinary Surgeon who wants to practice excellent medicine without feeling like you’re rushing through the day, this might be the kind of role you’ve been hoping to find.

The Opportunity

We’re working with a beautifully designed small animal clinic in Beckenham that is building something genuinely special. Their mission is simple but powerful: deliver outstanding veterinary care while creating a workplace where veterinary professionals actually enjoy coming to work.

This is not a practice trying to plug a gap. They are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who wants to be part of a team that values thoughtful medicine, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Someone who enjoys surgery, thrives in a supportive clinical environment, and takes pride in building real relationships with clients and their pets.

The clinic combines state of the art facilities with bespoke technology, designed to make the clinical workflow smoother for the team and the experience calmer for pet owners. The result is a practice where you can focus on doing your best work, rather than constantly firefighting.

You will be joining a highly skilled veterinary team that believes exceptional care comes from collaboration, curiosity, and genuine compassion for both animals and the people who care for them.

Why This Role Is Different

A Clinic Designed For Great Veterinary Work

You’ll work in a purpose built, modern clinic equipped to support high quality diagnostics and surgical procedures. The environment has been designed to create a smooth clinical workflow so vets can focus on patient care rather than operational friction.

A Team That Values Collaboration

You will work alongside highly skilled veterinary professionals who actively support each other. This is a team environment where cases are discussed, ideas are welcomed, and everyone contributes to clinical decisions.

Interesting and Varied Clinical Work

This role combines surgery, diagnostics, and consultations, allowing you to use the full breadth of your veterinary skillset. You will perform surgical procedures, diagnose a wide range of conditions, and build treatment plans that genuinely improve patient outcomes.

A Genuine People (and Animal) First Culture

The culture here is built around respect, support, and professional growth. The team believes that when veterinary professionals feel valued and supported, the quality of patient care naturally follows.

Your Journey Here

In Your First Month
You will settle into the team, learn the clinic systems, and begin building relationships with colleagues and clients. The focus will be on understanding how the team works together and becoming familiar with the clinic’s facilities and technology.

In Your First 3 Months
You will be confidently managing consultations, performing surgical procedures, and developing treatment plans independently. By this stage, you will feel fully integrated within the clinical team and comfortable contributing to case discussions.

In Your First 6 Months
You will be a key clinical contributor within the practice. You may begin exploring further professional development opportunities while continuing to expand your surgical and diagnostic case exposure.
